Tentative date for the 40th Reunion is July 17, 2010. It is hoped to have
a firm date within the next two weeks.

Update as of March 30, 2010:
July 17th,
2010 has been confirmed as the date.
It will be held at Downtown 202. Click on the link above for information
about the facility. The LaSalle Hotel is right across the street from Downtown202.
It has been fully renovated and is open for business. This is a great opportunity
for out of town attendees to have a place to stay overnight. We are looking
into trying to get a discount block of rooms there.
Update as of April 13, 2010:
Catering was discussed, with J Cody's
looking like the best value for the money. It is hoped that the first batch
of invitations will go in the mail around the last week of May. Music will
be provided via a sound system, with Jim Miller providing the "oldie" tunes
appropriate to our times. Some form of live music is also being looked into.
Update May 10, 2010:
J Cody's will cater a BBQ dinner that
will start serving at 6:30.
Live music is being provided by Wayne
Johnson. Wayne has been playing events for over 25 years and has a great
collection of music from the 50s, 60s, 70s and on, played his way.
Several of us have heard him and you will not be disappointed. Jim
Miller will also have his collection of music on hand.
Arrangements have been made with the
LaSalle Hotel in downtown Bryan for reduced rates for class members. A continental
breakfast is provided, along with one free drink at their bar from 5:30 to

Cost is $35.00 per person until July
2nd, $40.00 per person after that and at the door. In the past we have received
free printing of the invitations and Hitching Post, thanks to classmates
David and Alva Kesler. They no longer own the printing business but were
able to secure a good price on printing. As such, if you want to have a new
Hitching Post, the cost will be $1.00 for attendees and $2.50 if we need
to mail it. PayPal is available for anyone wishing to use it.
Update May 13, 2010:
Group pictures will be done in the
8:30 to 9:00 time frame, with the pictures being printed on site and available
immediately. The photographer (Kelling Photography of Brenham) will also
be taking around 100 pictures during the reunion and will burn these to a
CD. The CD will also be available during the reunion.
Update June 2, 2010:
Invitations went into the mail this morning. Sorry they were so late getting
out, especially for you out of town and out of state classmates. As one classmate
I spoke with to verify her mailing address said "Life kept getting in the
way". A link to the 40 year invitation has also been posted on the first
page.
Update July 14, 2010:
Anyone not able to attend but wanting either the CD of Reunion pictures or
the group photo: Info on how to order either from the photographer will be
posted on the main page after the Reunion.
Please spread the word
about the reunion to other classmates, and also about this web site. We worked
very hard to build an Excel spreadsheet of addresses, but we know there are
some wrong addresses in there, as well as omissions since we did not have
any address from day 1 on some members.
Thanks goes out to all the committee members listed on the first page. They
spent MANY hours of their own time as well as some burned a lot of gasoline
to make this come together.
