Our "getaway" home on wheels.







Pictured below is a boat that Doris's dad built from scratch by hand in his garage in the
early 60s. It started with a 5 HP motor and he would take it off shore from Galveston out to the oil rigs and fish. It now has a whopping 33 HP Johnson on it. I "inherited" it several years ago and began the process of restoring it, mostly cosmetic, while trying to remain true to the original colors. One picture shows it at the dock on Lake Bryan.
